Menditto de Ostatu 2019
Previously know as Selección, Menditto is an emblematic wine for us. It was the first wine that we began to age in barrels and the one that took our production identity to a different profile from the usual Rioja wines.
With this wine we wanted to mark our style: grapes from old vineyards, well-matured, with freshness. This led us to look for the Graciano coupage, where the good wood is present but does not take away the prominence of fresh and seasoned fruit. All this with the character coming from clayey soil that gives volume in the mouth and fills the palate with nuances.
